My Story
Why did I decide to sell Scentsy? Honestly, I'm tired of working. I'm a teacher, full time, of high school Spanish. Though I love my job, I look forward to the day when I can work from home while raising my children. I hate having to miss so much of their lives. Scensty is helping me realize my dream. I was first introduced to Scentsy in November of 2011. My aunt hosted a basket party for one of her co-workers and brought it with her one evening. I instantly fell in love with so many of the scents. My mom and I shared a combine and save, and then I honestly didn't really think about it again until my friend, and now director Christina Stainbrook, started selling it that month as well. I bought a couple more scents and a clearance warmer from her in March to help her with her business and then decided to host a party for her in May so that I could take advantage of one of her specials, help her even more with her business and earn some great rewards! I initially began thinking about selling Scentsy that day. She discussed the opportunity with me once everyone had left and I fell in love with the idea of working from home and not having to leave my children in the care of another person. I was still hesitant, though and knew that because I had tried selling other direct-sales products that I more than likely would fail or give it up due to lack of profits. So, I moved on, but still wasn't ever able to not consider the opportunity. In August of 2012, Christina posted almost daily about taking advantage of deluxe start-up kits for Scentsy and I thought now is the best time to take advantage of this opportunity. So I did! THE BEST $99.00 I'VE EVER SPENT!! I can't begin to tell you how much I regret not signing up sooner than August 24, 2012. I LOVE this company and I LOVE the products. I look forward to doing my "job". Scentsy has become a passion and a way of life for me now. It has transformed the way I live. I used to not really have a plan for my future, but through Scentsy I have learned to set goals that are challenging, but attainable. My ultimate goal is to be able to quit teaching full time and to work from home selling Scentsy. Now, who wants to party?!
